Our 6 favourite things to do when visiting Windsor
It's such a treat when we get to deliver flowers to the charming historic town of Windsor. Read on for the best places to visit. As well as bouquets which chime with its history, architecture and quintessentially British quirks.
Go west for some Windsor whimsy
Less than an hour west of London, Windsor is a popular spot for a day trip. The town spans the banks of the River Thames, with Windsor Castle dominates the skyline.
Soak up centuries of history
With its cobblestoned streets and centuries-old buildings, the town of Windsor looks like it's stepped out of a fairytale. Don't miss Queen Charlotte Street: the UK's shortest street. It's just next to another 'grammable sight of the Crooked House.
Wander around Windsor Castle
Home to royalty for more than 1000 years, Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world.
Inside lie opulent rooms, amazing artwork, and family treasures such as Queen Mary's Dolls' House. Within the grounds is St George's Chapel, no stranger to flowers given the number of royal weddings it has hosted.
The Castle also has three gardens: The Jubilee Garden, The Moat Garden and the East Terrace Garden.
As it's still a working royal palace, visiting times can change so it's best to book tickets in advance.
Enjoy exploring Eton College
Founded in 1440, this school has educated 20 British prime ministers, as well as other politicians, authors and royalty. It also gives its name to the 'Eton Mess' dessert of strawberry, meringue and cream. Delicious!
Between May and September, you can join a heritage tour of its historic buildings. Its museums are open to the public on Sunday afternoons.
Flowers galore in Savill Garden
For a floral hit, book your ticket for the 35 acre Savill Garden . This thoughtfully-planted garden is delight throughout the year.
In the spring there are daffodils, azaleas and flowering cherry trees. French musk roses and hydrangeas bloom in summer. In autumn cyclamen and crocus peep out, with daphnes and heathers putting on a display in the winter.
Take a stroll through Windsor Great Park
Covering the equivalent of 700 football fields, Windsor Great Park will give you more than enough space to stretch your legs! Don't miss the magnificent view of the avenue of trees leading up to Windsor Castle.

A regal treat
The British Royal family love their flowers. Her Majesty The Queen was a regular visitor to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and in 2019 The Princess of Wales Kate Middleton co-designed a woodland garden there.
Our Royal Flush Bouquet combines delicate spray roses with blooming limonium. It's a pretty posy perfect for a princess:
