Luxury hand tied bouquets to spark a smile

Our thoughtfully designed hand tied bouquets brighten any occasion. From birthdays to weddings, we love being the reason behind so many smiles.

Our story

In 2010, our family founded the luxury interior design company Hello of Mayfair. High-end floral arrangements elevate every space, and so we added flowers to our range. As demand grew, we expanded our floristry offering into Chelsea Florals.

Our founder's mother is an experienced florist and the creative source of our floral designs. London's architectural flair, charming English villages, the night sky, historical figures and far-flung destinations have all inspired her elegant designs.

From the romantic elegance of a French princess to the colourful houses of London's Portobello Road, there's a story behind every bouquet name.

Combining flair with consistency

Some online florists only allow you to choose from a generic colour palette of either 'brights', 'pastels' or 'neutrals'. It's hard to envisage what you're ordering. And if the florist doesn't share your sense of taste, you or your loved one may be disappointed.

As an independent family-run floristry business, we like to be more precise. Whatever the season, we try to match the look of your luxury hand tied bouquet as closely as possible to what is displayed online.

The skill behind a luxury hand tied bouquet

Hand tying our bouquets mean no wire or floral foam is needed to hold them together. Instead our trusted florists pick a stem at a time to add to the arrangement. They expertly rotate the design as they weave in flowers and foliage. To create the distinctive 'dome' shape of a hand tied bouquet, they also trim flower stems to different heights.

The finer details

All our hand tied bouquets are secured with twine, and then wrapped in an understated satin ribbon.

In tune with the seasons

The renowned Chelsea Flower Show takes place a hop, skip and a jump from us here in London. Skilled plantspeople use heaters and cold storage to either speed up or delay the flowers to time blooms to perfection. You can see snowdrops which normally flower in February next to lilies that normally blossom in July. Or March daffodils next to June roses.

But outside of Chelsea's Great Pavilion, no UK flower is in bloom all year long. This means what is available during springtime is quite different to the winter months.

We carefully source seasonal flowers of the highest quality in our bouquets, following the design as closely as the month will allow. You can see the core bouquet 'recipe' listed in its description, or in the notes tab. If any substitute flowers are used, they will always be of an equal or higher value. If there's no suitable alternative, we will contact you regarding another solution.

Our favourite blooms

We're very fond of romantic roses, sourced from our sustainable growers. We also love vibrant dahlias, dramatic lilies, and delicate carnations in our sumptuous hand tied bouquets… The list goes on.

Petal perfection

Here are just some of the varieties we use:

  • Red Rose 'Naomi' – when it comes to generous, velvety red roses, this variety has it all. With more petals than any other red rose, it gives a sumptuous look to bouquets such as our 50 Naomi Red Roses Bouquet. They also have a subtle, sweet scent.
  • Carnation 'Antigua' – just like Carrie in Sex And The City, we're big fans of a pink carnation! This variety has ruffles of cream and pink, giving a soft, organic look to our hand tied bouquets which include the Esher Pale Pink Bouquet.
  • Astrantia 'Star of Billion' – these delicate star-shaped white flowers are surrounded by green-tipped bracts. They add zest to bouquets, for example the Witley White and Purple Bouquet.

Spotlight on sustainability

Whenever possible, we source our flowers from well established growers. Outside of the UK growing season, we may use flowers from abroad, from countries such as Kenya. These come from Fairtrade farms with good working conditions, benefits for the employee and their family, and fair wages.

Our hand tied bouquets are delivered in recyclable cardboard boxes. We also offset our carbon emissions.

Next day delivery across the UK

If you order your hand tied bouquet before 3pm, we will deliver it the next day. We use either FedEx or Yodel tracked service.
